How do you search a brand on ChatGPT? I mean, I can easily search Reddit and other places but do you mean see if your brand shows up in the ai overviews?

Does Ahrefs have a module yet?

I have been thinking about this a lot while building my own AI automation and content workflows. Thanks for putting language around what so many of us are experiencing right now.

Such a great intro, there’s always so much noise around “SEO is dead” or “Facebook is dead.”

Had no idea about AIO, this post was super insightful!

Curious, how do you optimize your content to get cited inside AI overviews?

AIO stats are not available yet. Nothing is identified specifically as AIO impressions or clicks though AIO. That said, Google Search Console is our best bet in future. Rumors are GSC will have some information on that since AIOs are not going away,

OpenAI doesn't share any of the search data so we don't what's happening under the hood. They don't have any keyword research module or plan to have one at this point since they are singularly focused on AI. This got me curious so so check below on my question to ChatGPT

"

Me: how many people searched nike products on chatgpt yesterday ?

ChatGPT said:

I'm unable to provide the exact number of times users inquired about Nike products on ChatGPT yesterday. OpenAI does not publicly share detailed statistics on specific user queries or topics. "

Thank Daria. For admission into AIO, I break the factors into 3 rough categories

1) Relevance and Authority , meaning is the content directly addressing the intent of the user (not just keywords) and does the domain have a good track record of being cited regularly which is a proxy for trustworthiness

2) Accessibility - is the content easily parsed by AI crawlers so having a clean HTML/schemas goes a long way especially for conversational queries with Natural Processing Language

3) Readability for users - is the content clear, digestible and organized. Use the tags to create an organization while bolding certain elements as needed depending on the question.

hope that helps
